Romy’s Spiritual Branding Photoshoot in Mallorca

As a personal branding photographer in Mallorca, I love creating images that truly reflect a person’s work, energy, and purpose. A personal branding shoot is not just about portraits—it is about showing who you are, what you do, and how people will feel working with you.

Recently I photographed Romy, a spiritual guide and mentor who helps people reconnect with themselves and find clarity, balance, and harmony in their lives. She was preparing to launch her new website and services, so she needed a full library of images that felt authentic to her work and her life on the island.

Her intention for the shoot was one simple word: connection.

Connection to her audience, to her new life in Mallorca, and to the deeper purpose behind her work.

Starting the Branding Photoshoot at Odette Studio in Palma

(or as we say in French: joindre l’utile à l’agréable)

We began the day at my studio in Palma. Starting indoors is often the best way to begin a personal branding photography session in Mallorca, especially for clients who feel a little nervous about being in front of the camera.

Here, Romy had her hair and makeup done by Anya Ustymenko and we created a calm environment to ease into the photoshoot. The studio has a beautiful indoor set with plants, which worked perfectly for her brand. The greenery created a peaceful and grounded atmosphere—something very aligned with the work she does.

This first part of the shoot allowed her to feel comfortable, find her energy in front of the camera, and start expressing the calm confidence that her clients feel when they work with her.

Personal Branding Photos in Palma Old Town

Personal Branding Photography Walking Through Palma Old Town

After the studio session, we moved into the beautiful streets of Palma Old Town. Walking through the old town is one of my favourite ways to create natural and authentic personal branding photos in Mallorca.

The stone streets, historic buildings, and soft Mediterranean light create the perfect backdrop for relaxed portraits. As we walked, we captured natural lifestyle images of Romy simply moving through the city, which brings a very real and approachable feeling to her brand.

Personal Branding Photos at Banys Àrabs

One location Romy especially loved was Banys Àrabs. The peaceful garden and beautiful sandstone architecture create a unique atmosphere that feels calm, timeless, and grounding.

The arches, textures, and warm tones of the stone complemented Romy’s spiritual work perfectly. These images have a quiet, reflective energy that aligns with the space she creates for her clients.

Lifestyle Branding Photos at Cappuccino Café

To add a lifestyle element to her branding gallery, we stopped for coffee at Cappuccino Grand Café.

Images in a café setting are perfect for personal branding because they show the human side of a business owner. These photos feel relaxed and natural, capturing moments that reflect everyday life and connection.

They are also ideal for social media, blog posts, and storytelling content.

Outfit Change and More Branding Photos Around Palma

For the final part of our time in Palma, Romy changed into a different outfit so we could create more variety for her website and marketing.

We continued walking through Palma Old Town, capturing additional portraits against textured stone walls, quiet streets, and small architectural details. Changing outfits during a personal branding photoshoot is a simple way to create different moods and expand the visual library for a brand.

This gave Romy a wider range of images she can use across her website pages, social media, and future marketing materials.

Sunset Branding Photos by the Sea

For the final part of the shoot we drove to Maioris, where the cliffs overlook the Mediterranean Sea.

This location gave us dramatic rocks, light, and open views of the water—perfect for the more emotional and expansive part of her brand story.

Here we photographed her with some of the tools she uses in her work, including her journal, book, and deck of cards. These product images will be used on her website and marketing materials.

We also focused on detail images: hands in the sand or in water, moments of stillness, and quiet connection with nature. These types of images are essential for websites because they help illustrate services in a subtle and beautiful way.

The Power of Personal Branding Photography

Romy works with clients who are thoughtful, self-aware women—often between 40 and 55—who are looking for guidance, growth, and deeper connection in their lives.

Because her work is based on trust and presence, it was important that the images communicate wisdom, calm, and authenticity. She told me before the shoot that people connect deeply with her eyes, so we made sure to capture many portraits where her expression could communicate that depth and warmth.

When clients land on her new website, they will immediately feel the energy she brings to her work.

That is the power of personal branding photography in Mallorca—creating images that allow your audience to feel your presence even before they meet you.

Tips for a Successful Personal Branding Photoshoot in Mallorca

After many years working as a personal branding photographer in Mallorca, here are a few tips that help create powerful branding images.

  1. Choose locations that reflect your brand

Mallorca offers incredible variety—historic streets, beautiful boutique hotels, luxury villas, stone architecture, beaches, cliffs, and nature. Selecting locations that match your work helps tell your story visually.

  2. Plan images for your website and marketing

Think about what you actually need: hero images, social media photos, detail shots, product images, and lifestyle moments.

  3. Include tools of your work

If you use objects in your services—books, cards, notebooks, laptop—bring them. These small details add meaning to your images.

  4. Allow time to relax into the shoot

Starting in a comfortable environment like your home or my studio often helps clients feel confident before moving to outdoor locations.

  5. Focus on authenticity

The goal of branding photography is not to look perfect—it is to look like you, at your most confident and aligned.

A Magical Result

After delivering the images, Romy sent me this message:

"They are so beautiful. I see myself in them. The translation from intention to result is magical. You are an alchemist."

And later she shared:

“Adele, the translation from intention to result is magical. You are an alchemist! I wanted this shoot to reflect the new life and energy that relocating to the island has brought. You captured my essence and the whole experience felt relaxing and effortless. Investing in myself for this next chapter has helped me share more of Romy with my audience thanks to your wonderful images.”

For me, this is exactly what personal branding photography should do—translate someone’s intention, purpose, and energy into images.

If you are launching a new website, evolving your business, or simply ready to show up more authentically online, a personal branding photoshoot in Mallorca can give you a library of images that truly represent you and your work.
